10mm Stirring Shaft, Chem-Stir, Polished, For Use With 5L-22L Flasks, 605mm OAL, Complete with PTFE Nut and Bolt. A 10mm OD precision ground and polished stirrer shaft with our patented** Chem-Stir blade attachment system. Shaft (C) has been manufactured with a ring at the lower end to permit attachment of the blade (B) with a PTFE nut (D) and bolt (A). Shaft is supplied complete with PTFE nut and bolt set. For use with PTFE bearings such as the CG-2077. Polished shaft will not cause abrasion to the sealing surfaces of the PTFE bearing, thereby allowing a vacuum tight seal. Uses the same PTFE nut and bolt blade attachment method as the CG-2074 ground shaft. When used with a Trubore bearing lubricated with stir-lube, 1500 rpm maximum can be achieved. When used with a condensate film as an added heat transfer agent, 2000 rpm maximum can be achieved.
